Home Depot Kids workshops

I posted a few weeks ago about the free workshops for kids on Saturday mornings. Brooklyn and I went to our first workshop this past weekend and built a super cute see through window box. We stopped by the garden section on our way out and grabbed a few hardy marigolds to plant when we get back from Buffalo. Daddy can't be trusted to water anything while we are gone plus, Brooklyn wants to be able to watch the seeds sprout. She also got a great red apron, goggles and a badge showing what she had built. It was a great time and I can see us attending these workshops regularly. We actually already signed up for the May 1 class to build a little school house.

I heard that Home Depot also does workshops for kids on Saturdays and was able to track down the link to that site.

Home Depot offers two chances to build your projects on Saturday mornings with the kids. The first chance is at 9am and the second is at noon. They recommend these workshops for kids ages 5 to 12 and a parent / caretaker must also be present. Kids who participate receive their finished project, an orange apron and badge of completion. Look towards the bottom of the page and you will see a button directing you to find your location.
