Free Wooden Projects for Kids at Lowe's

So pretty much every Saturday morning at participating Lowe's stores there is a free wooden project for kids. The site recommends the clinic for those in 1st through 6th grade but younger children are welcome as long as their parent / caretaker stays to help them. Visit the Lowe's site to find out about upcoming projects and then register to guarantee your space. When you register, a drop down box of participating Lowe's stores in your area will appear. Children who participate receive not only the finished project but a pair of goggles, an apron, a patch related to the project and a certificate of completion. I signed up to do the see through growing planter this Saturday with my 4 year old daughter and we can't wait.
