Hi all .. my name is Amy and I am a mom to two amazing little kiddos. I have always considered myself a savvy shopper but before my kids were born, my passion for finding deals wasn't really about finances. It was more about the thrill of the hunt and finding those great bargains than a way to survive financially. Four years later I have two kids under the age of five and despite working full time, I find myself needing to find new ways to stretch our dollars to make sure that not only are the kids basic needs met but that there is something left over for fun, household items and things that don't really need but desperately want. I subscribe to a variety of different sites to help me keep track of sales, coupons and price errors in an attempt to maximize our dollars. I also enjoy sharing my finds with friends and family but sometimes I feel like I'm inundating them with emails. A friend in the neighborhood recently sent me an email about one of her colleagues who started a blog about great deals. The light bulb went off in my head and I immediately knew that creating a similar site would allow everyone to see my finds, if they so chose, without me having to send mass emails. I'll try to keep this site updated weekly and most of the posts will focus on kid / family friendly items.
